During my recent New Year getaway, I had the pleasure of staying at Demosan City Hotel in Konya, and it was quite a cozy spot to ring in the year. The highlight for me was the friendly and hardworking staff; Mr Yaşar, the manager, truly went above and beyond, even ensuring our taxi made stops at scenic spots along the way, which was perfect for capturing stunning landscapes. The location is convenient, just a short stroll from Kentplaza Avenue, which is handy for dining options, though you'll need to venture a bit farther for a wider selection. The breakfast buffet was another treat - offering a delightful array of traditional Turkish dishes, and my travel companions loved the nearby playground, perfect for letting off some steam. The air-conditioned room was a haven after long days exploring the area; it came equipped with a flat-screen TV and free WiFi, making it easy to unwind with a cup of tea while editing my landscape photos. I'd say Demosan City Hotel is a lovely base for travelers seeking both comfort and a touch of adventure.
